Police Log: Woman Caught Breaking into Childcare Center, Multiple Vehicles Vandalized

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Sept. 25, 5:30 p.m.: A woman attempted to return a bag of clothing to Marshall’s but store security recognized her from incidents at other stores so she was not allowed to return the clothing. The woman then walked around the store for 2-3 hours and placed items in a bag. She walked past the registers and left the store without paying.

Police Log: Man Hits Home With Car Repeatedly, Misunderstanding Over Uber

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Feb. 17, 4:40 p.m.: Police stopped a vehicle on Pleasant Street for crossing over marked lanes, and having improper inspection. When police spoke to the woman they discovered she had an arrest warrant in her name. The 44-year-old Newton woman was arrested on the warrant from Brookline District Court for traffic offenses.

Police Log: Traffic Stop Finds Cocaine, Clothes Stolen From Moving Couple

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Aug. 3, 10:36 p.m.: A Dexter Avenue resident called to report a man who had followed them home from a restaurant after they had gotten into an argument with him. The suspect left the area when police arrived. Officers followed him and pulled him over on Laurel Street for failing to signal when turning.

Police Log: Father, Daughter Caught Shoplifting; Man Arrested After Leaving Accident

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. 
Arrests
June 20, 12:18 a.m.: Police investigated a accident where a vehicle struck a light pole on North Beacon Street at Irving Street. Officers found the vehicle unattended, but while they were at the scene a man returned to the accident. Police asked him what he was doing there and he said he had been a passenger and was coming back to get something out of the car. He would not reveal the name of the driver. Police found he had four default warrants for multiple charges ranging from property damage and driving under the influence of drugs.

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
April 27, 9:58 p.m.: Security at the Watertown Street Stop & Shop spotted a man put several items into a shopping cart and walk toward the entrance. He was stopped and had $598.78 worth of groceries. The 25-year-old Newton man was arrested for larceny over $250. April 28, 3:13 p.m.: A woman was spotted putting several items of clothes into her pocketbook and more items between her pocketbook and her body.

Police Log: Man Arrested for OUI and Leaving Scene of Accident

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
April 24, 6:26 a.m.: Police served a warrant from Middlesex Juvenile Court on a 14-year-old boy from Watertown for threatening to commit a crime. April 26, 11:37 p.m.: A Grandview Avenue heard a crash and looked out to see a black sedan leaving the are after hitting a parked car. Police found the driver side of the parked car heavily damaged. Several minutes later a car was found in a driveway on King Street with heavy passenger side damage and the engine was still warm.
