Dec. 19, 10:01 p.m.: An officer spotted a a vehicle make a left on a red light from Common Street onto Mt. Auburn Street. When the vehicle was pulled over, the officer noticed that driver showed signs of intoxication.

Dec. 3, 3:46 a.m.: An officer spotted a vehicle in the municipal parking lot in Watertown Square, the owner of which was known by police to have a revoked license. Officers saw the owner come out of CVS and enter the vehicle along with a friend. The vehicle was stopped after police confirmed the driver had a revoked license.

Nov. 26, 5:54 p.m.: Security at Home Depot spotted a man and woman in the store and the man was known as a chronic shoplifter. The pair went to the power tool section of the store and took items out of their packaging and placed some in the carriage pushed by the woman and the man hid some in his clothing. The man had three Milwaukee Drills on him.

Nov. 21, 11:52 a.m.: A Mt. Auburn Street resident parked in the municipal lot on Boylston Street at 9 a.m. and when the person returned at 11:52 a.m. the 2001 Toyota Corolla was gone. Later that day, at 2:07 p.m., officers who were looking for the vehicle discovered it in the lot behind the Dunkin’ Donuts in Watertown Square.

Nov. 5, 4:57 p.m.: Police received a report of a man acting suspiciously in a vehicle parked in the Wells Avenue municipal parking lot. When officers spoke to the man they found he was wanted on a warrant. The 67-year-old Waltham man was arrested on the warrant from Cambridge District Court for making annoying phone calls.

Oct. 28, 2:06 a.m.: A man went to Perfection Auto Body, got into a tow truck and drove away down Pleasant Street. Employees called Police, who stopped the flatbed truck on Pleasant and Bridge streets. They opened the door and asked the man to put the truck in park.

Oct. 21, 12:27 p.m.: An officer in Watertown Square spotted a vehicle pulled-over under a no parking sign. The motor was running and the driver’s appeared to be in a reclined position. The officer went to check on the man’s wellbeing, and it took a couple minutes to awaken him.

Oct. 8, 5:04 p.m.: A man headed into the power tool section at Home Depot, took several power tools and placed them into a cart. The man then pushed the cart out the door without paying. He was stopped by security, who found eight power tools worth a total of $2,012.
