Name of Watertown Man Killed by SUV in Waltham Released

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office announced that it has confirmed the identity of a man killed Monday following a crash on Wyman Street in Waltham. The victim has been identified as Gregory Dwyer, 65, of Watertown, according to the DA’s Office. At approximately 6:51 a.m. yesterday police responded to a crash involving a Lexus SUV and two pedestrians on Wyman Street in Waltham in the area of Hobbs Brook Office Park. Following the crash, a second victim, a 70-year-old male,  was taken to another area hospital with serious injuries. The driver was not injured and remained on scene. No charges  have been filed at this time.

UPDATED: Watertown Man Killed When Driver Strikes 2 Pedestrians in Waltham

A Watertown man died after being struck by an SUV in Waltham on Tuesday morning. WCVB Channel 5 reports a 65-year-old Watertown man was killed when a vehicle driven by a Waltham man in his 60s struck him on Wyman Street. Neither the name of the man killed or the driver have been released. The accident occurred in a crosswalk at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday. The man was taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital to be treated for injuries and was pronounced dead there, according to an Associated Press story posted by the Boston.com.
