Like the planes she helped build in World War II, she was a Flying Fortress. Blanche was the loving  mother of Carol Airasian and her husband George, Gretchen Silverman and her husband Harvey, Roberta Gollogly and her husband John, Heidi Wilhelm and her husband Douglas and the late Andrew Kasper and his wife Mary. Stepmother of Jane Hubbard Wyman and her husband David.

A Funeral Service for Helen Louise (Hazlehurst) Hunt will be celebrated on Wednesday Sept. 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home.Mrs. Hunt was a daughter of the late James Hazlehurst and Joan (McMeninom) Hazlehurst. Helen passed away Wednesday morning after a period of declining health. Helen was the loving wife of Stephen Terhune Hunt of Watertown. Loving mother of Eric Hazlehurst.

Evelyn M. Sullivan of Watertown died on August 17, 2018 at the age of 85.

Evelyn was a long-time federal employee; she worked at the Watertown Arsenal and later at the Boston office of the Environmental Protection Agency where she was Executive Secretary and Freedom of Information Officer.

William J. Fleming of Winchester died on August 4, 2018 after a year long struggle with ALS. Beloved husband of Nancy (Farnsworth) Fleming. Loving father to John A. Fleming, William F. Fleming and his wife, Lauren, and grandfather to Libby Marie. Survived by three brothers – John J. and his wife Sheila (Sullivan) of Northampton, MA; Richard J. Fleming of Sandwich, MA and Robert P. Fleming of Arlington, MA. Bill is also survived by six nieces, two nephews, many close friends, including his best lifelong friend, Alfred Zani.

OBIT: Jean Krueger, Longtime Watertown Resident, Had a 60 Year Marriage

Jean Marie Krueger was born in North Attleboro to her parents Merriam (Nana) and John (Gubba) Lutz. Jean grew up as a child in Milford and at 14, her father moved the family to Watertown where he took a job at the Arsenal.After graduation, she began working in Boston as a Secretary where she was known for her fast, error free typing at John Hancock and American Express, to name just a few. She loved taking the “T” bus into Boston to shop for the latest
fashions and spend time with friends going to movies, restaurants and roller skating. Jean met Richard (Dick) Krueger from Wisconsin who was in the Navy on shore leave in Boston on one of her nights out roller-skating. They dated for some time, were soon married in Seabrook, NH, and lived in Charlestown with
other Sailors and their wives.
