Catherine James (Constantino) Holt, 101, of Wellesley, formerly of Watertown, passed away on March 21, 2019. Catherine attended Watertown High School but left to work in the family business, Kay’s Bakery on Galen Street, during the Great Depression and served as the Secretary of the Bakers Union in Boston during the 1930’s, according to the Town Council proclamation given to her on her 100th birthday. She received her GED diploma, and after watching her own children graduate from Boston College, she returned to school graduating from Newbury College, with honors, in 1982, at age 64.
