OBIT: David Henneberry, Man Who Discovered Marathon Bomber in His Boat

David Henneberry, the man who ended the manhunt for one of the Boston Marathon Bombers, died on Sept. 27, 2017, according to the obituary on Legacy.com. Henneberry found Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in his boat, which was parked at his Franklin Street home the day following the shootout at the intersection of Laurel Street and Dexter Avenue. He noticed something strange about his boat when he went out for a smoke shortly after the “shelter in place” order was lifted. He was the husband to the late Elizabeth (Bartlett) Henneberry, and had two step daughters and had a brother, four grand children and a great grandchild.

Frederick (Fred) Dorey, 75, passed away on August 14, 2017. He was a
Watertown High School graduate (1960) and lived in Los Angeles. Fred is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gail Glick, his son Jeffrey R. Dorey, his wife Erica, and their son Curt Lucas of Seattle, and Fred’s sisters Carol Hurzeler and her husband Richard of Tyler, Texas, Linda Simpson and husband Kenneth of Plano Texas, and Gail Dorey of Watertown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Raymond and Lorraine Dorey of Watertown.

Marion Zanco, 97, St. Patrick’s Parishioner, Worked at Haartz-Mason

Marion (Cafarella) Zanco, 97, passed away on July 31, 2017. She was most recently a resident of Meadow Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waltham.  

Marion was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Angelo who died July 28, 2007; and her sisters Edith D’Ambrosio, Mary Valenti and brother Thomas Cafarella. She is survived by her son John and his companion Jan Chapman of
Haverhill MA, her grandson Jack and his wife Natalia of Framingham, her longtime caregiver Valerie Fuchu of Tewksbury as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Hyde Park, MA, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Mariana (Bongiorno) Cafarella.

OBIT: John J. Quinn, 85, Navy Veteran, Worked as MBTA Inspector

A Funeral Mass for John J. Quinn will be celebrated in the Church of St. Luke’s,
Belmont at 9 a.m. on Saturday July 29, 2017. Mr. Quinn passed away in the Mount Auburn Hospital after a brief illness on
Tuesday July 25, 2017 surrounded by family. He was 85. Born in Boston, John grew up in Watertown, graduating from Watertown High
School, class of 1949.

OBIT: Glen Robley, 55, WHS Graduate, Worked as Apparel Designer

A Funeral Service for Glen Vernon Robley will be held on Wednesday July 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown

Mr. Robley, a son of the late George Harold Robley Jr. and Christine June (Merlin) Robley passed away in Merrimack, N.H., on Saturday evening after a long illness with leukodystrophy. Glen was 55. Glen was a graduate of Watertown High School and after High School he received his degree from the New England School of Art and Design. He worked as an apparel designer in the clothing industry. He is survived by his daughter Leah of N.H. Loved by his family Dawn Siemonsma and brother in law Mark of California, Linda Laszecki of Pennsylvania and brother Gary of Watertown.
