Waltham Woman Busted for Allegedly Dealing Opiates in Watertown

A 45-year-old Waltham woman who had been under investigation for drug dealing was arrested for allegedly dealing drugs in Watertown. 

The Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force had been surveilling a known heroin dealer in Waltham and followed a woman driving a vehicle into Watertown.  She was later identified as Elizabeth M. Caliri of Waltham. “They observed her vehicle pull onto Olcott Street and made a hand-t0-hand transaction,” said Watertown Police Lt. James O’Connor. “The pulled away and they followed her to Belmont Street where they watched her enter a residence and return to the vehicle a few minutes later.” The woman returned to Olcott Street, pulled over in the same area of the street.

March 8, 11:27 a.m.: A Lawrence man was arrested in Watertown as part of a drug sting that also included busts in Dorchester and Brighton. The arrest came after a two-month investigation by the Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force and the Boston Police Drug Control Unit. Police found fentanyl – a prescription opioid – and cash when they searched the home on Riverside Street. The man, identified as Carlos Alfredo German-Peguero, 25, of Lawrence, was arrested on charges of trafficking in fentanyl, giving a false name and on an immigration detainer.

Dorchester Man Arrested for Selling Cocaine After Long Investigation

A Dorchester man faces drug dealing charges after being arrested for selling cocaine to an undercover officer in Watertown. 

The Southern Middlesex County Drug Task Force conducted an investigation. The man, identified as Alberto B. Mendes, was known by law enforcement to be selling drugs in and around Watertown, said Watertown Police Lt. James O’Connor. “The task force  made five undercover drug buys from the person – cocaine,” O’Connor said. “They were always at a predetermined location in Watertown.” Members of the Task Force decided to make the arrest after the fifth drug buy, O’Connor.

Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Two Suspected Drug Dealers

Watertown Police arrested two men suspected of having drugs they intended to sell after they allegedly ran a red light in Watertown Square. 

On May 29 at 9:45 p.m., an officer spotted a driver run a red light at Mt. Auburn and Summer streets, and when the officer spoke to the driver and the passenger, a strong odor of marijuana was coming from the car, said Watertown Police Lt. James O’Connor. When the officer asked the driver about the smell, the driver produced a glass mason jar containing marijuana, O’Connor said. The officer also observed that the passenger was extremely nervous and was holding a backpack on his lap. “He observed a white powdery substance spread around the whole center console area of the vehicle, which he believed to be cocaine,” O’Connor said.

Police Arrest Oxycodone Dealer at Watertown Motel

A man faces drug dealing charges after being caught selling pills from a room at a Watertown motel. A drug investigation by the Watertown Police and the Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force tracked a man wanted on drug charges to the Super 8 Motel in Watertown on April 12 at 4:45 p.m.

Officers suspected the man, Shawn Sturtevant, was suspected of dealing drugs out of his motel room, said Watertown Police Lt. James O’Connor. “A surveillance team observed two vehicles pull into the parking lot of the Super 8 and the suspect exited the interior and conducted what was believed to be an illegal narcotics sale,” O’Connor said. Police stopped the vehicles and questioned the drivers. “One of the parties buying drugs admitted to police he was there and purchased five oxycodone pills,” O’Connor said.

Police Bust Watertown Man After Joint Drug Investigation

Police busted a Watertown man for allegedly dealing drugs on the Westside of town. 

Watertown Police teamed with the Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force to investigate drug dealing activity in town. Police followed a suspect and pulled the suspect over on Prentiss Street and identified him as Shah Faisal, 25, of Watertown. When officers searched him, they found Percocet pills, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. Faisal was arrested on a charge of possession to distribute a Class B drug, Lawn said.
