Watertown Student Makes UMaine’s Fall 2020 Dean’s List

The following information was provided by the University of Maine:

The University of Maine recognized 4,133 students for achieving Dean’s List honors in the fall 2020 semester. Of the students who made the Dean’s List, 2,670 are from Maine, 1,366 are from 38 other states and 97 are from 35 countries other than the U.S.

Due to the unusual and challenging circumstances faced this semester amid the global pandemic, the university has modified its Dean’s List policy for the fall 2020 term. The requirement that students earn 12 calculable credits to be eligible for Dean’s List has been waived. Instead, students will be eligible 1) if they earned Dean’s List recognition in spring 2020 and have placed all of their fall 2020 courses on pass/fail; or 2) if they have earned a minimum GPA of a 3.5, regardless of the number of credits taken, in fall 2020. Please note that some students have requested that their information not be released; therefore, their names are not included.

Three Watertown Students Make Spring Dean’s List at UMaine

The University of Maine recognized 4,210 students for achieving Dean’s List honors in the Spring 2020 semester. Of the students who made the Dean’s List, 2,769 are from Maine, 1,333 are from 41 other states and 108 are from 43 countries other than the U.S.

Watertown Students Make MassBay’s Dean’s List

MassBay Community College is pleased to announce its 2018 Fall Semester Dean’s List. Pair of Watertown Residents Named to Their College’s Dean’s Lists

Two Watertown residents were recently named to their college’s Dean’s List. Student at Savanah College for Art and Design
Emerson Shaye O’Connor was named to the Dean’s List at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Ga., for spring quarter 2018. Emerson is seeking a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising with a minor in Fashion Design. She is the daughter of Julie MacDonald of Watertown and Jonathan O’Connor of Newton. Named one of Kaplan’s “25 cutting edge schools with an eye toward the future,” the Savannah College of Art and Design is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution with locations in Atlanta and Savannah, Ga., and in Lacoste, France.

310 Endicott College Athletes Make Dean’s List, Including One from Watertown

A total of 310 Endicott College club and varsity student-athletes have been named to the 2017 Fall Semester Dean’s List for obtaining a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 in the fall semester, including Watertown’s Gabriella Coppola who plays basketball for the Gulls. 

All 21 Endicott varsity programs and all seven club programs are represented throughout the list, Endicott Athletics announced. The breakdown of student-athletes named to the Dean’s List is solely based on the information provided by the Endicott Athletics Compliance Office, which reflects grades posted as of February 12, 2018. The list provided by the Endicott Athletics Compliance Office is subject to change at any time. NOTE: In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must obtain a minimum grade point average of 3.5, receive no grade below a “C”, have no withdrawal grades, and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits for the semester.
