New Networking Series at Commander’s Mansion Starts This Month

The Commander’s Mansion is excited to announce a series of networking events geared towards local Watertown businesses. We will be kicking off the Summer series on Thursday, June 27th with guest speaker Steve Magoon, Director: Community Development and Planning/Assistant Town Manager. Meet us in the Grape Arbor, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – rain plan is in the tent. Join us for lite bites provided by Catering with Distinction and beverages provided by Donahue’s Bar & Grill.

Commander’s Mansion Hosting Corporate Open House

The Commander’s Mansion in Watertown. The Watertown Commander’s Mansion and La Bonne Maison will host a corporate open house this week. Organizers sent out the following information:

Think outside the conference room for your next corporate meeting or retreat. We invite you to explore the mansion, see the A/V possibilities and enjoy an express luncheon with both vegan and gluten free options

The event will be May 1, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Commander’s Mansion Adds Some Holiday Cheer to Watertown

The Commander’s Mansion was decked out for the season Thursday evening as the historic home in Watertown hosted the annual Holiday Open House. Dozens of families visited the home to view the Christmas trees, enjoy some cookies and hot cocoa, and listen to some carols. Santa Claus arrived at the Mansion with a special escort from the Watertown Police Department.

Watertown’s Commander’s Mansion Presents Holiday Open House

Watertown’s historic Commander’s Mansion hosts the Annual Holiday Open House on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., featuring two floors of fun, food and drink, and visits by Santa and Mrs. Claus. The organizers of the event provided the following schedule and information:

First Floor – South Pole

6:15 to 6:45 p.m. and 7 to 7:30 p.m. – La Bonne Maison presents an intimate tasting demo of holiday cocktails and app

For ages 21+ (limited capacity) $8.00 per person with pre-registration — please call 617-926-7755 to register — and $10.00 per person at the door (cash only)

5:45 to 6:15 p.m. – Perkins Secondary Chorus and Instrumental Ensemble performs Christmas Carols

Watertown Commander’s Mansion Hosting ‘Lil Monster Mash

Children and their families are invited to have some Halloween fun at Watertown’s Commander’s Mansion. The Town of Watertown provided the following information:

Don’t miss the ‘Lil Monster Mash on Saturday, October 27, 2018, 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Free Community Event for Families, Geared towards K-5th Graders. Two scare levels at the Haunted Mansion. Carnival games under the “big top.” Food, beverages and prizes for all.

Free Activities and Snacks at Watertown’s Arbor Day Celebration

Watertown will celebrate Arbor Day with a special, free event on Thursday at the historic Commander’s Mansion. Organizers sent out the following information:

Come join us at the Commander’s Mansion on Thursday, April 26th from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The Commander’s Mansion is located at 440 Talcott Ave. in Watertown (off Arsenal Street).  

This will be a fun day of learning about nature and the environment and there will be plenty of activities for children and adults. Free snacks and drinks will be handed out.
