Young Basketball Players Return to Summer Camp for First Time in Years

School might be out, but the gyms at Watertown High School and Watertown Middle School have been full of youngsters this week. They joined WHS’s basketball coaches for a week-long basketball camp, and there is another program next week. The summer basketball camps have been around for many years, said Watertown boys basketball coach Steve Harrington, who runs it along with Watertown girls basketball coach Pat Ferdinand. The program has been on hiatus for a few years.

LOWELL — The first half of the MIAA Div. 3 State Final started like a dream for the Watertown High School boys basketball team. Like in the previous rounds of the State Tournament the Raiders jumped to a quick lead, but their championship dreams crumbled in the second half.

Raiders Earn Trip to the Boys Basketball State Final

FRAMINGHAM — Watertown High School is heading back to the MIAA Div. 3 Boys Basketball State Final after beating Tech Boston 64-57 Tuesday night. The Raiders jumped out to a big first half lead, controlling the first half, with a styffling defense and strong rebounding.

Watertown Falls to St. Mary’s in Girl’s Basketball Round of 8
