Police Log: DJ Turntable Stolen, Man Tries to Take Vodka from Liquor Store

March 31, 4:23 p.m.: A woman had been in Target for two hours and put numerous items in a cart and attempted to leave without paying. The 44-year-old woman from Cambridge was arrested for shoplifting. April 1, 8:28 a.m.: Police served two warrants for a 27-year-old Watertown man on Dartmouth Street. One was out of East Boston District Court and one from Dorchester District Court.

Police Log: String of Tire Slashings, Teen Busted for Drugs

March 25, 5:58 p.m.: Police went to Best Buy where two teens were stopped for shoplifting. A customer told security he overheard the two in the bathroom talking about taping merchandise to their chests. When police were there one of the teens kept reaching into his pocket when he was told not to and when they searched him they found a bag full of 12 individually packaged baggies filled with a green substance believed to be marijuana. The 18-year-old Brighton man was arrested on a charge of possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute.

Shoplifter Facing Many Other Charges After Spitting on Police

A woman caught shoplifting at Target got herself into more trouble when she would not go quietly with police officers. The suspect, identified as Ryaneesha Rice, 24, of Jamaica Plain, was spotted put an air purifier under her cart and asked to receive credit for it. For that and some other items she received a total of $383.23 on a gift card, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. She was caught and taken to the security office. When police arrived she was not cooperating. Rice began swearing at officers and when they tried to hand cuff her she yelled obscenities at the officers.

Police Log: 2 Teens Busted for Bringing Air Gun to Boys Club

March 16, 3:08 p.m.: Target security spotted a woman placing items in a back and attempt to leave the store. The merchandise was worth $639.22, and the 27-year-old Dorchester woman was arrested on a charge of larceny over $250. March 17, 5 p.m.: A woman was seen putting a 32-inch Vizio TV into a cart at Target and tried to leave without paying. The 23-year-old Brighton woman was arrested on a charge of shoplifting, a subsequent offense.

Watertown Police Bust Two Suspects on Drug Charges

Watertown Police busted a man and a woman after finding cocaine and prescription pills on them. Police received a call reporting that a woman in a car who had a rubber tube tied around her arm and appeared to be injecting herself with a needle in the parking lot of Dunkin’ Donuts on Mt. Auburn Street, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. When officers arrived, they found to two women in the car. “As they were talking to the two females, a man came up to ask what was going on and said he was ‘with the two girls,'” Lawn said.

Police Log: Woman Arrested After Hitting Two Cars, Snowblower Stolen

March 12, 12:27 p.m.: Police were called to Main Street near the Central Fire Station and found the suspect near the Watertown Free Public Library. The 65-year-old Boston man had a warrant for his arrest out of Boston District Court for shoplifting. March 13, 2:59 p.m.: A man was found on the ground in a parking lot on Main Street. Police found the man lying next to a snow pile.

Watertown Couple Arrested After Attacking Elderly Taxi Driver

Police arrested a pair of Watertown residents who allegedly attacked an 80-year-old taxi driver when he confronted them for not paying their cab fare on St. Patrick’s Day. Police received a call from the taxi driver to report a fare evasion. “Officers observed the driver’s face was red and flush, and was bloodied with a possible broken nose,” said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. The taxi driver picked up the couple, identified as Tyler Tuccio and Samantha Moreira of Watertown, in Boston and drove them to Highland Street in Watertown. When he informed them of the fare, Tuccio and Moreira exited the cab without paying, Lawn said.

Watertown Woman Busted at a Cracker Barrel on Drug Charges

A Watertown woman faces charges of dealing drugs at at Cracker Barrel restaurant in Tewksbury. Drug dealers keep trying different locations in North Tewksbury to conduct business and the Tewksbury Police Department seems to be there every week for more arrests, according to a report on Your Tewksbury Today. Cracker Barrel was the scene Monday at 7 p.m., when Tewksbury officers encountered two alleged dealers with multiple types of drugs in their possession. Gina M. Valentine, 32, of 64A Belmont St., Watertown, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute, three counts of possession of a Class E drug and possession of a Class B drug. Matthew F. Reardon, 34, 14 Malvern Ave., Tyngsborough, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute and possession of Class B drug.
