Police Log: String of Theft of Tools from Homes and Vehicles, Woman Victimized by IRS Scam

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
July 17, 4:40 p.m.: An officer patrolling in Watertown Square spotted a vehicle in the left turn lane on Galen Street go straight across the intersection onto Mt. Auburn Street. The officer pulled over the driver, who was unable to provide a driver’s license. Police found the man was driving without a license and was driving his brother’s car.

Police Log: Man Harasses Woman Using Vulgar Language, Gravestones Vandalized

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrest
July 3, 9:30 a.m.: An officer spotted a vehicle run a red light in Watertown Square. The vehicle was pulled over, and police discovered the man driving did not have a driver’s license. The 30-year-old man from Marlborough was arrested on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Incidents
July 3, 5:30 p.m.: A 20-year-old resident of the Archstone Apartments on Watertown Street said she was using her laptop when she realized someone had hacked in and was using her computer remotely.

Police Log: Woman Tries to Use False Prescription, Bracelet Stolen

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. 
Arrests
June 29, 10 p.m.: Security at Target spotted a man taking a cell phone and hiding it in his sweatshirt pocket. The man left the store without paying for the phone but was stopped. The phone is valued at $129.99. While investigating, Police found pills for which the man did not have a prescription. The pills were identified as Amitriptylin.
