Watertown Real Estate Sales Strong Despite Pandemic; See the Top Agents, Offices

The pandemic threw some new challenges at real estate agents in 2020, but the Watertown home sales remained almost as strong as the prior year. The total sales in Watertown figure in 2020 was $586.21 million from 413 properties. The prior year, 429 properties sold for about about $4 million more than 2020. As in prior years, the top agent for Watertown home sales was Ari Koufos, broker/owner of Realty Executives. He sold 23 properties for $22.23 million.

See the Top Agents in 2019, a Super Hot Year for Watertown Real Estate

For Watertown, 2019 was one of the hottest real estate markets ever, and many of the top agents from previous years once again led in sales over the past year. Realty Executive’s Ari Koufos had the most properties sold, 37, and also topped the list in total sales amount $37.84 million, according to the sales reports on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS)  during 2019. “Everything clicked for me last year. For me it’s the best year I’ve ever had,” Koufos said. “I did $51 million statewide individually And $37+ million in Watertown.”
