The Watertown girls and boys cross country teams ran in the MIAA Div. 2 meet in Gardner on Saturday, and a sophomore placed among the top finishers. Anna Lonergan finished in eighth place in the girls Div. 2 race.

Watertown Field Hockey Grabs Spot in Final Four With Dominating Win Over Dover-Sherborn

Four goals by sophomore Molly Driscoll led Watertown in its 6-0 defeat of Dover-Sherborn in Saturday’s MIAA Div. 3 Round of Eight Field Hockey Tournament game. The Raiders added another trophy to its vast collection of awards with Saturday morning’s win at Victory Field. With the MIAA doing away with the sections, the Raiders got a trophy for making the Final Four.

Watertown Rolls Over Oakmont in the Round of 16 Field Hockey Tournament Game

Watertown’s round-of-16 State Tournament game against Oakmont was over by the end of the first quarter, as the Raiders beat the Spartans 6-0 at Victory Field on Wednesday afternoon. Two Watertown players collected a pair of goals, and one player scored her first varsity goal in the MIAA Div. 3 State Tournament game. Watertown Cannot Contain Explosive Dover-Sherborn Offense in State Football Playoff

DOVER — Watertown High School’s run of wins came to an end in the first round of the MIAA Div. 5 Football Playoffs, with a 21-7 loss at Dover-Sherborn. The Raiders (5-4) held the explosive Dover-Sherborn (8-1) offense scoreless early in the game, forcing a punt on the first drive and the second ending in a missed field goal.
