Watertown Boys Hockey Team Final Four Bound After Beating Grafton

After two straight dominating State Tournament victories, the Watertown High School boys hockey team found itself in a dogfight with Grafton/Blackstone Valley Tech on Saturday night. The Raiders prevailed 2-1, and will head to the MIAA Div. 4 Final Four.

Watertown Falls to St. Mary’s in Girl’s Basketball Round of 8

LYNN — The season ended Thursday night for the Watertown High School’s girls basketball team, which could not keep pace with Parochial powerhouse St. Mary’s in the Round of 8 of the Div. 3 State Tournament.

Watertown Boys Hockey Team Routs Dedham, Advances to Round of 8

A second period scoring burst sent the Watertown High School boys hockey on the way to an 8-1 victory over Dedham, and moved on to a round that the Raiders haven’t reached in several years. With the win, second-seeded Watertown reached the Round of 8 in the Div. 4 State Tournament, the equivalent of the Section final under MIAA’s old system. The Raiders last made it that far in 2016.

Watertown Boys Basketball Team Heads to Round of 8 After Resounding Victory

Charlie BreitroseWatertown senior Tyler Timperio scored 27 points in the Raiders win over North Reading in the State Tournament. It took some time for the members of the Watertown boys basketball team to find their shooting touch, but when they did the Raiders rained down the three pointers and put away North Reading in the Round of 16 MIAA Div. 3 State Tournament game Tuesday night. The first half saw most of the Raiders shots from behind the arc miss. The only player with a three pointer was senior Tyler Timperio.
