A Funeral Service for Helen Louise (Hazlehurst) Hunt will be celebrated on Wednesday Sept. 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home.Mrs. Hunt was a daughter of the late James Hazlehurst and Joan (McMeninom) Hazlehurst. Helen passed away Wednesday morning after a period of declining health. Helen was the loving wife of Stephen Terhune Hunt of Watertown. Loving mother of Eric Hazlehurst.
Evelyn M. Sullivan of Watertown died on August 17, 2018 at the age of 85.
Loving daughter of the late Thomas P. & Mary (Toye) Sullivan. Dear sister of Bebe Quinlan & her husband Jack of Bolton and the late Patricia K. Boylen. Beloved aunt of Thomas Quinlan of Key West, Pamela Quinlan of Princeton, & Jennifer Quinlan of Watertown. Caring great-aunt of Cassie, Daniel, Jonathan, & Mary. Evelyn was a long-time federal employee; she worked at the Watertown Arsenal and later at the Boston office of the Environmental Protection Agency where she was Executive Secretary and Freedom of Information Officer.
William J. Fleming of Winchester died on August 4, 2018 after a year long struggle with ALS. Beloved husband of Nancy (Farnsworth) Fleming. Loving father to John A. Fleming, William F. Fleming and his wife, Lauren, and grandfather to Libby Marie. Survived by three brothers – John J. and his wife Sheila (Sullivan) of Northampton, MA; Richard J. Fleming of Sandwich, MA and Robert P. Fleming of Arlington, MA. Bill is also survived by six nieces, two nephews, many close friends, including his best lifelong friend, Alfred Zani.
Mary Labadini, devoted mother and loving sister, passed away Aug. 3, 2018, after a short battle with cancer at the age of 61. A native of Watertown, Mary was a diligent student her entire life, and hailed as an alumna from Watertown High School (Class of ‘75), Regis College (undergrad and Masters) and University of St. Joseph’s (Masters). Mary devoted the first part of her career to those also seeking higher education, and from 1991-2000, she worked at Mt.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday August 3rd, 2018 in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main Street, Watertown at 9:00 a.m. for Joseph F. Shutt. Born in Boston, Joseph was the son of the late Charles J. Shutt & Barbara A. (McDonough) Shutt. He passed away Monday July 30, 2018 in Burlington after a short period of declining health. Joseph was 93.

Alice M. (Herlihy) Walker of Duxbury, passed in her home surrounded by her family on July 7, 2018 after a battle with cancer, at age 77. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, David Raymond Walker. Alice was the second of 6 children of John Joseph Herlihy & Evangeline McMichael Herlihy. She was the mischievous one of the bunch, yet she was also the person who would drop everything to help anyone in need. Raised in Newton & Watertown.
Walter J. Oates, Jr. of Watertown died on June 25, 2018 at age 93. Beloved husband of 65 years to the late Virginia M. (Dunn). Walter was the loving father of Walter J., III, & his wife Carolyn of Waltham, William G. & his wife Marion of Watertown and Mary T. “Terry” Poillucci & her husband Robert of Waltham.
