OBIT: Dorothy J. Bruno, 90, of Watertown, Worked at Harvard

A Funeral mass will be celebrated in the Church of St. Luke, Belmont on Friday July 25 at 9 a.m. for Dorothy J. Bruno. Miss Bruno passed away on Sunday July 20, 2014 in the Epoch Senior Living Center in Weston at the age of 90. Born in Chicago and educated in Chicago, she lived in Brookline before moving here to Watertown where she made her home. She was the director of the Harvard University Credit Union and later a Research Technician at the Harvard school of Public Health.

A Funeral Mass for Ryan James Eaton will be celebrated on Thursday July 24th at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown. Born at the Winchester Hospital, Ryan was a life long resident of Watertown. A graduate of the Minuteman Technical High School, Lexington, Class of 2014. Ryan was enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America College in Hyde Park, NY. He was 18 years of age.

A Funeral Mass for Gerald Raymond Boudreau, 69, will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown. Mr. Boudreau, a son of the late Joseph R. and Gertrude M. (Poitras) Boudreau, was born in Waltham. He was a lifelong Watertown resident and a graduate of Saint Patrick High School, Watertown. Afterwards he graduated from Northeast Institute of Technology with a concentration in Heating and Refrigeration. In addition Mr. Boudreau studied for 5 years at the Pipefitters Union trade school.

A Funeral Mass for Mary C. (Whyte) Sullivan will be celebrated on Monday June 9, 2014 in the Church of St. Patrick, Watertown at 9 a.m.

Mrs. Sullivan was born in Waltham, a daughter of the late John P. & Mary C. (Bowes) Whyte. Mary was born and raised and spent 50 years in Watertown. She graduated from Watertown Hugh School, Class of 1959. Mary worked at Verona Restaurant for years as well as for FEMA for 25 years and worked tirelessly and was extremely instrumental in the passing of the 1984 Anti-Hazing law in Massachusetts.
