OBIT: Francis Mooney, 74, Therapist, U.S. Marine

A Funeral Mass for Francis M. Mooney will be celebrated on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 9 a.m. in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown. Mr. Mooney was a son of the late George and Mary (MacLellan) Mooney. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Watertown High School and Boston College, class of 1963. He passed away Tuesday morning in the Mount Auburn Hospital after a lengthy illness, age 74. After college, Francis enlisted in the U.S. Marines, serving 12 years, reaching the rank of Captain.

Memorial Service for Quinn Centola, 64, Watertown Native

Quinn “Querino” Philip Centola, 64, passed away after a very courageous battle on Nov. 7, 2014. He was the devoted husband of Carmen (Gardea) Centola – who was present when he passed – loving father of Trina Lee Centola, dear brother to Peter R. Centola and his wife Karen of Watertown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, brother in law of Anthony, Ronald, James Gardea and Mary Dalby of Santa Ana who were also present and supportive during his illness. He was the son of the late Philip and Anna Centola.

OBIT: Joan M. O’Reilly, Watertown High Class of 1951

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 for Joan M. (Lorenzen) O’Reilly at 11 a.m.

Mrs. O’Reilly died in the Oak Knoll Health Care Center in Framingham on Saturday evening after lengthy illness. She was 81. Born in Cambridge, she was a graduate of Watertown High School, Class of 1951. She worked as a receptionist for several work places. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard P. O’Reilly.

OBIT: Beatrice Fleming, 95, St. Patrick’s Parishioner

A Memorial Funeral Mass for Beatrice J. (Marshall) Fleming will be celebrated in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown at a time to be announced. Mrs. Fleming, a daughter of the late Joseph & Mary (Paz) Marshall died in her home surrounded by family on Wednesday August 20, 2014. She was 95 years of age. Born and raised in Somerville, MA she was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1938. After High school she continued her education at Fay Secretarial School and graduated in 1940.

OBIT: Beatrice (Martel) Kelly, 101, Long Time Watertown Resident

Beatrice (Martel) Kelly passed away on Monday evening at the age of 101. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at 9 a.m. Mrs. Kelly passed away in the Maristhill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Waltham surrounded by family. A daughter of the late Joseph & Jennie (Terrio) Martel, born in Newmarket, N.H., and grew up in Newton where she went to Newton schools. In 1933 she married her husband George and lived in Brighton before moving to Watertown where she lived for 64 years and raised five children.

OBIT: Robert Aiden Doyle, 77, Former Youth Sports Coach

Robert Aiden Doyle of Watertown died Friday Aug. 29, 2014 after a lengthy illness at the age of 77. Doyle died at the Alliance Healthcare Center in Braintree, where he had been a resident for several years. He is the devoted Father of Sandra D. Curlander and her husband James of Bellevue, Wash., Robert A. Doyle, Jr. of Needham, and James C. Doyle of South Boston. Loving grandfather of Siena Curlander. Dear brother of Sandra J. Doyle of Watertown and the late Irene A. Doyle.

OBIT: U.S. Army Lt. Col. Robert Rayne, formerly of Watertown

Lt. Colonel Robert L. Rayne, retired U.S. Army, of Indianapolis, formerly ofWatertown and Waltham, died on Aug. 23, 2014 at the age of 96. Rayne is a retired machinist for Boston & Maine Railroad and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy A. (Dupont) Rayne. Devoted father of Robert L. Rayne & his wife Carol of Indianapolis and the late David M. Rayne & his wife Maryann of Waltham.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown on Friday at 9 a.m. for Lucy M. (Cincotta) Ambrose. Mrs. Ambrose was born in Rollinsford, New Hampshire, a daughter of the late Philip and Mary (Defino) Ambrose. She died in her home after a period of declining health, surrounded by family. She was 89. Lucy was the beloved wife of the late Samuel S. Ambrose.
