Ellen G. (Simpson) MacNeil of Billerica, died on Oct. 7, 2015, at the age of 67. She is the beloved wife of retired Watertown Police Officer Henry E.“Henny” MacNeil. Daughter of the late James V. and Dorothy (Hutchins) Simpson. Dear sister of Elaine D. Dorion of Watertown and James V. Simpson, Jr. of Scituate and dear sister-in-law of Donald MacNeil of Westford and the late Leonard MacNeil of Burlington.

OBIT: Elizabeth “Bette” Perry, 92, Retired Perkins School Librarian

A Funeral Home Service will be celebrated on Monday, Sept. 23, 2015 in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown for Elizabeth C. “Bette” (Murphy) Perry. Mrs. Perry passed away in the Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge on Wednesday morning after a lengthy period of declining health. A daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (McLaughlin) Murphy. She was 92 years old.

OBIT: Josephine “Jo” Quirk, 84, Lived in Watertown for 50 Years

Josephine A. “Jo” (Lauricella) Quirk went to her rest peacefully surrounded by her family on Sept. 5, 2015, at her residence in North Providence, R.I., after a long illness at the age of 84. Born July 25, 1931 in Waltham, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Katherine V. (Romeo) Lauricella. She was the beloved wife of John P. “Jack” Quirk for 57 years before his death in 2008. She is predeceased by her youngest son, Gary R. Quirk.

A Mass of Celebration for Helen R. (Quinn) DeLacey will be held on Saturday Sept. 5, 2015 in the Church of St Jude, Waltham at 10:30 a.m.

Mrs. DeLacey, a daughter of the late Terrence J. and Bridget (Keenan) Quinn passed away at her home on Wednesday morning, Sept. 2, 2015 after a period of declining health. She was 91. Born in Boston, she grew up in Watertown, graduating from Watertown High School, Class of 1942. She was an office worker for the U.S. Government.
