A Funeral Mass for Mary Frances Thompson (Farrell) will be celebrated on Friday February 2, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown. A daughter of the late George Joseph Farrell and Mary Katherine Farrell (O’Reilly). Mary passed away surrounded by her family Saturday morning. She was 83. She was a devoted parishioner of Saint Patrick Parish in Watertown.

Saint Patrick, Watertown at 9 a.m. for Mary Alice (Jacques) McCauley.Mrs. McCauley, a daughter of the late Frank Leo and Yvonne M. (Ricard) Jacques
died in the Park Ave. Rehabilitation Center, Arlington on Saturday evening after a
long period of declining health. She was 82. Mary was born in Waltham, grew up in Weston, graduating from Weston High
School, class of 1953. Mary was a volunteer at Cunniff School, former member of
Cunniff School PTA, former CCD teacher, former brownie and former Girl Scout
Leader. Mary and her husband, Jim, were very active volunteers in Watertown for
numerous years
She was the beloved wife of the late James W. McCauley.
Lauress M. “Larry” Jones, Jr., 86, of Watertown, passed peacefully on December 2, 2017, surrounded by family.Born May 13, 1931 in Arlington to the late Eileen (Kelly) and Lauress M. Jones, Sr. Dear Brother of the late John & Robert Jones. U.S. Navy Veteran, served during the Korean Conflict. Retired employee of MBTA & driver for Inman’s Pharmacy. Devoted father of Michael Jones & his late wife Heidi of ME, Debbie Jones & her fiancé Grant Robinson of California, Linda Kowalec & her husband Joe of Connecticut, David Jones & his wife Melissa of New Hampshire and Laurie Graboski & her husband Steve of Connecticut. Loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
A Memorial Funeral Service for Donald H. MacCalmon will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 12 noon. Mr. MacCalmon, a son of the late Herbert H. MacCalmon and Katherine Christine
(McKinnon) MacCalmon passed away in Boston on Friday afternoon. Donald was
89. Donald served in the United States Army from October of 1946 to August of 1949. During his time in the Army, Donald was a CPL with the 11th Airborne Division and he also received the WWII Victory Medal and the Occupation of Japan Medal.
A Funeral Service for Daniel Bailey Odom will be held at a time to be announced in
the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown. Mr. Odom, a son of the late William P. Odom and Ruth Elizabeth (Correll) Odom
passed away in Burlington on Thursday evening after a period of declining health. Daniel was 80. Daniel was born in San Diego and later moved to Watertown where he was a lifelong resident. He held a bachelors degree in physics and worked as an electrical engineer at Raytheon.
Friends, family and fellow firefighters packed St. Patrick’s Church Friday morning to say goodbye to Mario Orangio, a man who always had a smile on his face and who loved the Watertown Fire Department almost as much as he loved his family.
The Watertown Fire Chief from February 2004 to October 2017, Orangio was as appointed chief when he was just 37. Father Matthew Conley, parochial vicar for St. Pat’s and Sacred Heart Catholic churches, who is also the Fire Department’s chaplain, said the pain of Orangio’s death was worsened by the fact that he was taken by pancreatic cancer at such a young age. “Adding to the sting of this day is that Mario was only 51 years old and battled a horrendous disease,” Conley said. “He was just too young.”

(Salvucci) Forbes.A daughter of the late Anthony J. and Donata (Pelligrino) Salvucci. Angela entered into her eternal rest surrounded by her family on Sunday October 29, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with Multi Systems Atrophy Type C. She was 80 years old. Angela was a graduate of Saint Columbkille High School class of 1955 and Tufts
University, Boston School of Occupational Therapy in 1960. She was an accomplished therapist working on the cutting edge of psychiatric occupational therapy and day therapy. She is the beloved wife of 53 years to Kevin P. Forbes.
Brandeis professor, renown neuroscience researcher and Watertown resident John Lisman died on Oct. 20, 2017 at the age of 73, the university announced. Provost Lisa M. Lynch announced Lisman’s passing to the Brandeis Community:
“It is with great sadness that I write to tell you of the death of our colleague John Lisman. John succumbed to a lung infection, passing away last Friday afternoon, surrounded by his family. He was 73 years old.”
