LETTER: Watertown Republicans Endorse Jay McMahon for Attorney General

The Watertown Republican Town Committee has proudly and unanimously voted to endorse Attorney James “Jay” McMahon III who running in the Republican Primary to be the next Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.McMahon, a Buzzards Bay resident, has practiced law in the Massachusetts for 30 years. During this period he has litigated cases in every court in the Commonwealth, in Federal Courts, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. His experience includes Civil, Criminal, Domestic, and Bankruptcy. McMahon
further has an extensive background in business management and law enforcement. In addition he served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard as a 2nd Lieutenant (Military Police).

Senate Candidate Geoff Diehl Visits Watertown Greek Festival

Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Geoff Diehl visited the Watertown Greek Festival on Saturday. Watertown resident and Republican State Committeeman Steve Aylward showed Diehl around the festival. Aylward was Diehl’s co-chairman in the ballot question that repealed the linkage of the gas tax to inflation. Diehl received the most votes at the Republican Convention by 30 points to be the candidate to face Democrat Elizabeth Warren. He also received the endorsement of the Watertown Town Republican Committee. The visit to the Greek Festival was not the first time that Diehl had visited Watertown.

Republican State Committeeman from Watertown Endorses Senate Candidate

He has been a great leader on fighting for taxpayers, standing up for victims, and demanding accountability at the State House,” said Aylward. “I am honored to have received Steve’s endorsement. His strong support will help us win Watertown,” said Diehl.

Watertown Resident Interning for Senate Candidate Geoff Diehl

Today Representative Geoff Diehl, the endorsed Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, announced that Watertown resident Samuel Ford will be interning for his
campaign. “I am happy to have Sam as an intern and I believe he will be a great asset to the campaign. Sam is one of the many young interns on the team and I believe their energy and passion will help contribute to an election day victory,” said Diehl. Regarding his new internship with the campaign Ford said, “I am honored to be a part of the Diehl campaign team and I look forward to helping him succeed. This will be a great learning opportunity and I hope to gain valuable experience.”

Ford is currently a history major completing his junior year at UMass Amherst.

Republican Announces Bid for Mass. 5th Congressional Seat

Watertown Republicans Endorse Geoff Diehl in Massachusetts U.S. Senate Race

Representative Geoff Diehl, candidate for U.S. Senate, announced that he has received the endorsement of the Watertown Republican Town Committee, according to a press release from Diehl’s campaign. 

“I am pleased that the Watertown Republican Town Committee will be supporting my candidacy for the Senate. Their support shows our growing movement,” said Diehl. “We have worked with Geoff Diehl for years. We were proud to stand with him on the successful effort to repeal automatic gas tax hikes – saving taxpayers $2 billion. Geoff is a proven leader which is rare in this day and age.
