The latest edition of the New York Times Style Magazine features a photo of designer John Derian back in his hometown standing in front of the Deluxe Town Diner.
The photo is one of a dozen, which accompany the story about Derian returing to the area where he grew up.
Derian returned to the street he grew up on – Dexter Street – and stopped in one of his favorite East Watertown markets – Massis Bakery. Plus, there are photos of some of his favorite flower shop – Cass the Florist – and the place he used to study – the East Branch Library.
He also checked out the Mount Auburn Cemetery, and the Mt. Auburn Street Star Market, where his father used to be manager. See the article by clicking here.
