The Raiders got a bit of a scare from Winchester Friday afternoon when they kept the field hockey team scoreless in the first half of the home opener, but Watertown pulled away in the second half.
After putting constant pressure on the Winchester goal Watertown’s Kourtney Kennedy got one past Paige Ross about seven minutes into the second half. Kennedy struck on a penalty stroke after she was pulled down in front of the net.
Michaela Antonellis made it 3-0 Raiders and Aurora Fidler tapped one in the final goal for Watertown in the 4-0 win.
The Raiders kept a variety of streaks alive, including 140 straight unbeaten, 80 straight wins and 27 straight shutouts.
