The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
Arrests
May 4, 1:15 p.m.: Police served a warrant on a 26-year-old Watertown man from Waltham District Court for animal cruelty.
May 4, 2:13 p.m.: A shoplifter was caught concealing $405 worth of merchandise at Target. The 56-year-old Falmouth woman was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
May 4, 9:21 p.m.: An officer patrolling on Elm Street by Arlington Street ran the registration of a vehicle and found the registered owner had an outstanding warrant. The 29-year-old Roxbury man was arrested on the warrant and for unlicensed driving.
May 17, 2:33 a.m.: An officer spotted a brown mini-van run a red light on Main Street, then run another at Arsenal Street and North Beacon Street and a third at Arsenal and Irving Street. The officer pulled the vehicle over and detected an odor of alcohol on the driver’s breath. Field sobriety tests were performed and the 29-year-old Watertown man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving an uninsured vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle and three counts of failing to stop.
May 17, 11:53 p.m.: The Watertown Police heard that probation had a warrant for a man for violating his GPS monitoring. Police arrested him and also found drugs on him. After he was arrested he caused a disturbance at the Police Station and damaged his cell. The 47-year-old man was arrested for probation violation, possession of a Class A drug, vandalizing property, three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and intimidating a witness.

May 6, 7:06 p.m.: A Franklin Street resident found a package that had been delivered was opened and the hair products inside were missing.
May 7, 2:57 p.m.: A man was caught taking $34.35 from Stop & Shop on Watertown Street. The 35-year-old man from Newton was trespassed from the store.
May 8, 2:35 p.m.: An employee at Super 8 Motel found a gun inside a holster left in a room. The 36-year-old man from Dexter, Maine was summonsed to Waltham District Court for unlawful carrying of firearms.
May 9, 11:37 p.m.: Police found three youths breaking into a school bus parked on Pleasant Street smoking marijuana. Two 20-year-old males from Watertown and an 18-year-old girl from Waltham were summonsed to Waltham District Court for breaking and entering.
May 10, 8:24 a.m.: Someone splashed orange paint on a vinyl fence of a home on Lexington Street.
May 10, 9:58 a.m.: Sometime overnight a door at the Orchard Park Laundry Mat was kicked and the glass was broken.
May 11, 8:27 a.m.: A business on Wheeler Court was tagged with a large piece of graffiti over the weekend.
May 12, 11:37 a.m.: Two women were spotted at Sports Authority with an empty bag. A short time later the bag was full and one of the women left with the bag. She returned without the bag, but the merchandise could not be located. The two 25-year old women from Boston were summonsed to Waltham District Court for shoplifting.
May 12, 1:13 p.m.: The emblem from the hood of a BMW was stolen from a vehicle parked on Pond Street.
May 16, 9:11 a.m.: The owner of a vehicle parked on Copeland Street found someone has rummaged through the car and loose change, CDs and a bottle of perfume were missing. The vehicle was left unlocked. Another unlocked vehicle on Gleason Street had been broken into and loose change was taken. Police learned of a second vehicle broken into on Copeland Street and a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses were missing.
May 16, 11:28 a.m.: A shoplifter was detained at Home Depot was detained after he tried to conceal several items under his hoody and left the store without paying. The 28-year-old Somerville man then came back and tried to return the items, which were worth $213.33. He was summonsed to Waltham District Court for shoplifting.
May 16, 10:20 p.m.: A Belmont Street resident found that a number of items had been taken from his room. The man suspects they were taken by some friends of his roommate.
May 17, 10:19 a.m.: A man came into Home Depot and tried to take merchandise worth $654.88. He was approached by security as he left and he dropped the items and fled toward Arsenal Street. The suspect was described as a 300-pound white male who wore a grey T-shirt and black shorts.
