Edward T. LaRoche, age 68, of Wakefield passed away at his residence on March 9, 2025. He was the son of the late Edward and Josephine (Boschetto) LaRoche.
Ed was raised and educated in Watertown. He later attended UMass Boston. He enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening. Ed loved traveling with his wife, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage. He enjoyed watching basketball. You could always find him in attendance at his grandchildren’s sporting events and dance recitals. He was a very proud “Grampy.”
He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Slonina) LaRoche. He was the loving father of Ryan LaRoche of Wakefield and Kane LaRoche and his wife Kaitlin of Woburn. He was the cherished grandfather of Kaiden and Kinsley LaRoche. He was the brother of James LaRoche and his wife Judy of Littleton and Robert LaRoche of Plymouth. He is also survived by his nephew Dustin and niece Michelle.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
