If you ask anyone who is Popeye’s most famous enemy, they will probably say Bluto or Brutus. Actually, it is the Sea Hag who is the last true witch on earth. She made a brief cameo appearance in the Thimble Theatre comic strip in 1929. However, she became a more prominent character in 1930. Since then, she has used monsters, wild animals, robots and magic to destroy her enemy, Popeye the Sailor.
