On April 29-30, seven rhythmic gymnasts who train at Boston Rhythmic in Watertown, represented the USA by competing in an international competition in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Our Level 4 and 5 girls earned top awards across all age groups. In total, our girls brought home 14 gold medals. The competition hosted elite to beginner gymnasts from ten countries.
Boston Rhythmic gymnasts attend this competition each year, because of the warm atmosphere and hospitality offered by the local citizens. The competition is an amazing opportunity for gymnastics to not only compete, but bond with and meet kids from all over the world.
Boston Rhythmic gymnasts have also earned numerous medals in the recent Regional Championships, and are now working hard to prepare for Nationals which will be held at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, New York.
This summer, Boston Rhythmic competitive athletes, as well as recreational gymnasts, will continue having fun learning new tricks with ribbons, hoops, and balls, at the annual Boston Rhythmic summer camp!
