Watertown’s newest restaurant will feature farm-to-table food with a New American and French flair.
Royal has already had a soft opening and it will host its Grand Opening on Saturday, March 7. After several months of renovations Royal will officially open its doors at 45 Lexington St., on the corner of Main and Lexington Streets in Watertown.
Executive Chef/Partner, Rachid Kourda who has over 20 years of experience in the
restaurant industry, is serving breakfast, lunch and dinner on from 7 a.m.-11 p.m. and features its full menu.
“I am not only a chef, but also an artist. The food I create is ‘sexy food’ with
a unique design to each plate.” Kourda said. “I want to WOW people with the plates I create.”
Kourda studied culinary arts in Lyon, France, then moved to the United States where he has worked in numerous restaurants all over the country.
Royal uses locally grown produce and locally sourced meats as much as possible, Kourda said.
Breakfast opens at 7 a.m. and offers an express menu in the morning – “Royal on the Go.” Also available are handcrafted breakfast sandwiches and entrees.
Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and features a Bento Box which includes an
assortment of five small sides and a choice of an entree for only $15.
Dinner is served Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m.-11 p.m. Royal offers
a four course Prix Fixe entree nightly.
The atmosphere at Royal is cozy, a chill vibe and lots of candles illuminating
the entire restaurant, with Buddha Bar style music.
In addition to dining in, breakfast, lunch and dinner are also all available for
take out and will soon offer delivery service.
