Feeling crafty? This coming weekend is going to start with a workshop for making lanterns at the Hatch Maker Space on Saturday. (Are you aware of the River of Light Festival coming up on the 18th?)

After making a beautiful lantern, walk over to the library for the craft swap in the afternoon. Maybe you’ve been inspired to be more creative and need some supplies. Saturday evening brings a delicious dinner and dance in celebration of Armenian Christmas at St. Stephen’s Church Hall. Sunday morning take your younger children to the open gym activities at the JCDS or read the paper in the morning and then go to the Italian La Befana Italian Christmas celebration in the afternoon. Our community is full of many cultures celebrating their holidays in their unique ways. Perhaps the most adult fun this weekend is the open house at Fly Away Fitness on Sunday afternoon. There are free mini classes in pole exercises and various dance styles, including a raffle for more free classes!
