On October 22, 2024, at approximately 5:15 p.m., police responded to several 911 calls reporting a disturbance in progress at the bus stop in the area of Mt. Auburn and Boylston Streets. Upon arrival, they spoke with a man who was suffering from injuries to his face and head. That man also had two lacerations on his back consistent with stab wounds.
