Here are some of our classes starting very soon!
Beginning and Intermediate Painting with Acrylic
Paint with acrylics in this class for all levels of painters. Beginners embark on exercises exploring color, value, and composition. Intermediate painters work on their own projects with critiques and guidance. Starting on September 24. https://www.mosesianarts.org/product/1843
Relief Printmaking
Students will learn how to create imagery, carve, and print with a variety of relief matrices including: linoleum, Sintra, and Shina plywood. Each matrix has different properties that can lead to different types of imagery and textures – i.e., linoleum and Sintra can be easily cut out into unique shapes or cut to be puzzle configurations, Shina plywood has a subtle wood grain, Sintra can be carved and engraved into for very fine detail. Introduction to Drawing
Drawing is for everyone! This class is designed for students who are new to drawing and students who have had some experience in the past and would like to start regular drawing practice. In this 8-week class, participants will be introduced to essential concepts such as composition, mark making, form, line, tone, and value. Experimental Printmaking class
If you have always wanted to try a printmaking class, but the length of the class has been an issue, this class is only 4 weeks long, packed with lots of information, exciting projects, and extra time outside of class to practice.
