Watertown Girl Scouts frost cupcakes together after a fun day of games and activities.
Watertown Girl Scouts celebrated an Thanksgiving early with a potluck.
The dinner was held on Sunday, Nov. 16 where the girls played games, frosted cupcakes, and had a visit from Mrs. Abigail Whitney, a housewife from 1775.
Among the games and activities were: a tree of thanksgiving, turkey bowling, pin the wattle on the turkey, and a place card craft. Girls also got to know each other through a trivia game.

After games, the girls and leaders shared a fantastic meal. Then, the girls gathered around to hear about the life of a girl in 1775. Girls got to dress up, card wool, and examine household items from the colonial period. To wrap up the afternoon, girls decorated and ate cupcakes.
“The day was a great success! Girls had fun playing games, making crafts, and learning about girls in history. We also collected several bags of food for the Watertown Food Pantry!” said Watertown Girl Scout Coordinator Emma Galloway.
