The City of Watertown’s Live Well Watertown program has plenty going on this spring, from walk and talks, to cooking demonstrations, to exercises that will also keep you emotionally grounded.

3 Body Qigong

At this time of year, nature awakens from winter’s slumber and begins to expand and grow. We feel this powerful earth energy and can support ourselves by staying grounded, physically and emotionally. This class series will include gentle movements, meditation, and basic information about body energy practices. Bring a mat or towel for floor practices.

Bring your ideas and questions about sustainability projects and how to get involved to make Watertown more a more sustainable community.
Walk with a Doc/Just Walk

YardArt is a community-wide celebration of creativity and fun in front yards, porches and windows all over Watertown. All residents, families, organizations, clubs, classes, artists, and businesses are invited to create something to be viewed from the street or sidewalk. Join Pam from Friends of Bees and the Watertown Pollinator Pathways group to learn about our native pollinators, what they look like, and where you might find them.
Upcoming walks will feature East End Businesses, exploring the Cultural District, the Watertown-Cambridge Greenway, Mount Auburn Cemetery and more.
Eat Well Watertown
Are you trying to reduce or eliminate your gluten intake? Looking for fresh ideas on how to incorporate more fiber and protein into your diet? It is possible to have vibrant and exciting meals while avoiding gluten! The world of gluten free is way more than swapping out flours, cereals, and pastas. A gluten-free diet can be followed whether it is a medical necessity of just a personal preference. Come join our Eat Well community chefs and try some samples of ancient (and gluten free) whole grains!
