  1. So sad to hear this. We were high school classmates at WHS Class of 1979. A good and decent man. My condolences to his family and friends!!!

  2. Rich was a gem!! He was always kind and thoughtful and was fun to be around. He was a good soul. His visit to Amherst when I was a freshman there was epic! So much fun with a guy who never took himself too seriously despite his many accomplishments. I will miss him.

  3. My condolences to the O’Reilly Family.
I met Richie many years ago on the campaign trail in Watertown. He was always engaging with a broad smile and a firm handshake. Richie was a very good person and had a heart of gold. May God Bless Him.

  4. Met Richie at campaign events for his niece Emily, along with Cathy and Peter. A true O’Reilly in characteristics and a fine representative of a great, long serving the Watertown community family! Rest in peace Richie, he called your number to early, but your memory will truly live on! My condolences to the O’Reilly Family.
