With more condos, apartments, office complexes, hotel and businesses but no word on how all this is going to effect our traffic on Arsenal and Mt Auburn Street and rest of the Watertown? I think we are over building in Watertown. It is already taking over 30 minutes for MBTA 71 bus from Watertown Sq to Harvard Sq in the morning and about the same time back in the evening rush hour which is only about 4 miles each way. It is very common to see at least one fire engine has a ‘Out Of Service’ sign on it in East Watertown station. We will have to reevaluate all the town services before we go crazy with all the new buildings. We may end up loosing the charm of living in Watertown. Don’t mean to sound negative just looking at the big picture.
