The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
Arrests
Nov. 30, 9:10 a.m.: Police received information that a man was wanted on a warrant. They located the 49-year-old Watertown man and arrested him fro the warrant from Waltham District Court for threats to commit a crime.
Nov. 30, 4 p.m.: A man was seen in Home Depot taking numerous items, including drills, two mini drones, a garbage can and a mop and bucket. In total, the merchandise was worth $546.71. When the man was being booked, police found he had a small amount of heroin. The 43-year-old Cambridge man was arrested on charges of larceny over $250 and possession of a Class A drug.
Dec. 1, 10:40 p.m.: Officers went to Fayette Street for a disturbance and when they were there they found one of the people involved had a warrant for his arrest. The 51-year-old Watertown man was arrested on the default warrant out of Roxbury District Court. for negligent operation of a motor vehicle and driving under the influence of alcohol, a second offense.
Dec. 1, 6:40 p.m.: Police were called for a second time to a room at the Super 8 Motel. While there, they found one of the occupants of the room had three default warrants for his arrest. The 50-year-old homeless man was arrested on the three warrants from Newton District Court for probation violations.
Dec. 2, 2:20 p.m.: A Tufts Health Plan employee was suspected of taking cell phones from work and selling them in Cambridge. Police discovered he had taken 24 phones and sold them. With the help of Cambridge Police, Watertown detectives arrested the 26-year-old Woburn man on a charge of larceny from a building.
Incidents
Nov. 28, 12:50 p.m.: A woman reported that her credit card had been stolen while shopping at a Whole Foods in Boston, and was informed that it had been used at Target in Watertown. The person charged $500 to the card. Police received surveillance video and are investigating.
Nov. 28, 9 p.m.: A woman washing her clothes at a Main Street laundry mat left her iPhone on a chair while she tended to her clothes and when she returned it was gone. The theft occurred at about 8 p.m. Police are investigating.
Nov. 29, 4:45 p.m.: A bicycle that was locked to a telephone pole on Mt. Auburn Street was stolen. The owner locked the gray Specialized Cirrus bike to the poll previous evening and when the person returned the bike was gone and the lock was on the ground.
Nov. 29, 7:30 p.m.: A man walked into Gordon’s Wine & Spirits and took three bottles of wine. The Diamond Creek wine is valued at $250 a piece. Police are investigating.
Dec. 1, 4:45 p.m.: A man walking near Best Buy in the Watertown Mall saw a man riding bicycle directly toward him. The man moved his shoulder to look like he was going to knock the other man off the bike but did not do so. The man on the bike stopped and punched the other man in the face. The man suffered minor injuries and reported the incident to police, who investigated and identified the person with the help of security video from Target. An arrest warrant on a charge of assault and battery was obtained for a 24-year-old Brookline man.
Dec. 4, 9:05 p.m.: Target security observed a man take a Nintendo 3DS XL handheld game system and an Xbox game and concealed them under his sweatshirt. The 24-year-old Watertown man was summonsed to Waltham District Court for shoplifting by concealment.
