Middle School students interested in finding out about the programs offered by Minuteman High School can attend Career Day to see the different programs offered by the school in Lexington.
While Watertown is not a member of the Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School District, they can enroll when there is space. In 2015-16 about 70 students from town attended the vocational school.
The Minuteman Career Day/Open House will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 1-4 p.m. at the campus located at 758 Marrett Road in Lexington.
Minuteman released the following information:
Career Day is an opportunity to explore all 15 of our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. Each area will showcase hands-on activities. Students can begin to discover not only what they love to do, but also how they might turn their passion into a focused college experience, satisfying career, and quality lifestyle.
Alongside our CTE instructors, Academic teachers will also be on hand to answer any questions about our academic course offerings, clubs, sports, and the overall competitive advantage earned through Minuteman. Robust academics prepare students for college, while career and technical education programs yield significant professional licenses, distinguishing resumes for college and providing the options for immediate entry into the workforce.
Minuteman seeks motivated, dedicated, students who have a passion for what they do and desire to do it well. Come and learn more about how Minuteman can help students achieve their dreams.
We look forward to seeing you!!
