The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
Arrest
Sept. 3, 5:41 p.m.: An officer pulled over a driver who ran a stop sign on Patten Street. When the officer asked for the man’s license and registration the driver became agitated, and began yelling and waving his arms. As the officer turned to go back to his cruiser the driver threatened the officer and swore at him. The man would not calm down after being asked to do so. The 33-year-old Watertown man was arrested on charges of failing to stop and disorderly conduct.
Incidents
Sept. 2, 1:24 p.m.: A razor scooter was stolen from outside the Watertown Free Public Library.
Sept. 3, 1:41 p.m.: A bike was left on Main Street near Gilbert Street on Aug. 30 and when the owner returned it was gone.
Sept. 3, 2:08 p.m.: Target security spotted a man who tried to leave the store without paying for a pair of pants. The 59-year-old Boston man was trespassed from the store.
Sept. 3, 6:19 p.m.: Two workers at a business on Walnut Street put their wallets on their desks and a few hours later they noticed they were gone.
Sept. 4, 11:08 a.m.: A woman left her purse at Stop & Shop and when she went back it was missing.
Sept. 4, 2:49 p.m.: A woman left a cellphone on a display at Marshall’s and when she turned around it was taken. Security watching on video spotted a second woman grab the phone and leave the store. They followed her and called police. They found her at the Dunkin Donuts at the Arsenal Project and the 47-year-old woman from Malden was summonsed to Waltham District Court for larceny over $250.
Sept. 7, 11:07 a.m.: A bike was stolen from a home on Locke Street. The mountain bike was taken out of a garage.
Sept. 7, 5:06 p.m.: Two men took several DVDs from Target and when they were confronted by security they pushed them and ran out of the store. One was described as a white male wearing jeans and a white T-shirt and the second suspect was a black male wearing a white shirt and black shorts. Both were in their late teens or early 20s.
