Watertown Police arrested a man who allegedly broke into three homes over the past couple weeks.
The man, identified as Michael Mancuso, is suspected of breaking into a home on Standish Road and stole a guitar, and was spotted by a York Avenue resident in his living room (click here to see more details).
On Aug. 28 at 1:51 a.m. the man was spotted walking up to the back door of a home on Bellevue Road, said Watertown Sgt. Thomas Grady. The homeowner woke up to let the dog out and while he did he spotted the man, who ran away.
Police searched in the area but could not find the man. After an investigation, police honed in on a suspect and made an arrest, Grady said.
On Aug. 28 at 3:15 p.m., police arrested Michael C. Mancuso, 39, of Watertown on two counts of breaking and entering at night for a felony and one count of larceny over $250, Grady said.
