The Wayside Youth & Family Support Network sent out the following letter about the support they received over the holidays.
The holiday season is upon us and it’s the most wonderful time of year for many. Yet for some, it can be challenging to afford gifts for their loved ones. Each year, Wayside Youth & Family Support Network’s Multi-Service Center works with local churches and businesses, to provide holiday gifts for families. Once again this year, families served through Watertown’s Social Services Resource Specialist Program were recipients of these generous donations.
We would like to wholeheartedly thank Sacred Heart Parish who generously donated toys and gift cards for nearly 60 Watertown families in need. Thank you to the Watertown Community Foundation for their Healthy Watertown Grant which allowed us to distribute gift cards to grocery stores. In addition, we’d like to acknowledge SignWorks Group who provided much needed diapers for families; a costly necessity.
Words cannot express how appreciative and grateful we are for the generous gifts, energy, and kindness of those who came forward to support families this holiday season.
