Please read this page, the Community Preservation Plan (click here), and the Application Manual (click here) before applying for Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds.
To apply, complete the Project Eligibility Form online (click here) by the Sept. 12, 2022, deadline to ensure your project is eligible under the CPA. If you do not plan to submit your Project Eligibility Form immediately, prepare your responses in a separate MS Word or Google Document and then cut and paste your responses to the narrative questions in the online. Note: You cannot save your work.
If your project is on city-owned land and you are not a city entity, please upload a completed and signed CoApplicant Consent Form (click for fillable PDF) with your online Project Eligibility Form to obtain the permission and support of the City as well as assistance with project coordination. Plan accordingly to meet deadline.
The Community Preservation Coordinator will notify you of eligibility and then you may complete the online CPA Funding application. Before preparing your CPA Funding Application (click here), thoroughly review the Submission Requirements Checklist (click here) to gather the required documents applicable to your project. Also, you are encouraged to prepare your responses in a separate MS Word or Google Document and then cut and paste your responses to narrative questions. Again, your work cannot be saved. When submitting your application online, upload all the required documents applicable to your project, including a completed CPA Application Budget Form (click for fillable PDF). The upload field is limited to 10 documents. You may combine like documents into one pdf or contact the Community Preservation Coordinator for assistance.
