Mia was an extraordinary person, a remarkable business woman, a friendly and considerate neighbor and deeply loved friend. Her departure is very painful and unexpected. I will not stop missing her and her wonderful human qualities, which were too many to mention here and more than enough to bring happiness and joy of life, to those who made her acquaintance. A princess of a woman full of kindness and warmth. Mia it is bitter hard to say goodbye. My life was better and brighter because I knew you. If there is a Heaven you will have Valet Parking privileges in it.
I considered myself lucky to have known Mia who was an extraordinary woman. I was deeply saddened of her passing. My heart aches. Mia was an inspirational woman. My deepest condolences to Steve, Dina, Maureen, Leah and family. May you all find comfort and peace with the passing of a remarkable woman. Mia, you will be dearly missed. R.I.P.
There will never be anyone like Mia Child. If you were fortunate enough to have known her, she made you feel special. Full of life, vigor, humor and good taste, Mia Child was a dear friend who make me feel like I was family.
Mia Child was so special to everyone she met. She had such integrity. You knew where she stood on things, but she didn’t try to impose her views on you. Mia was both a sage businesswoman and incredible wife and grandmother. And she never forgot her dear friends by communicating with you regularly.
Mia looked about twenty years younger than her age. – likely due to her extensive knowledge of skin care and health in general. She was beautiful inside and out.
While petite in size, Mia was larger than life. She hiked up Mount Mansfield in Stowe, VT this past January with no problem. She could get it done and with style.
As an Italian, Mia was passionate and proud of her heritage. I wish I could have gone to Italy with her.
She was up on current events, the arts, and history. Mia had an uncanny ability to be comfortable in any setting and make you comfortable.
We will all be better people if we can adopt just some of Mia’s capabilities.
I miss her terribly and offer profound condolences to Steve, her family and dear friends.
