The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
Arrests
Dec. 21, 5:28 p.m.: A woman was spotted in Target placing items into a Carter’s shopping bag and then exited the store the into the Watertown Mall without paying. The woman had $97.93 worth of items. The 26-year-old Norwood woman was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
Dec. 21, 11:19 p.m.: A pair of shoplifters was stopped at Target after putting $1,300 worth of items in a carriage and pushing it out of the store without paying. A 27-year-old Somerville woman was arrested for larceny over $250 and a 41-year-old Cambridge woman was summonsed to Waltham District Court for larceny over $250.
Dec. 24, 2:46 a.m.: A man was seen acting suspicious on Main Street and police found him on Middle Street. When he saw police, he put his hands on his chest, and he was taken to hospital. After investigating the man’s record police discovered he had a warrant for his arrest. The 26-year-old Watertown man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and three warrants.
Dec. 26, 3:55 a.m.: A police officer stopped when he saw a woman outside a car talking to a man inside to ask if everything was alright. The couple said they were waiting for a friend. Police identified both of them and found the man had a warrant. The 27-year-old Boston man was arrested on the warrant from Salem District Court for assault and battery.
Incidents
Dec. 22, 7:09 p.m.: A vehicle was broken into on Fayette Street and was rummaged through. Some change was taken.
Dec. 22, 2:55 p.m.: A teenage boy was seen at CVS taking two Gatorades and some caffeine pills and left the store without paying. Police tracked down the boy and summonsed the 17-year-old Watertown boy to Waltham District Court for shoplifting.
Dec. 23, 11:22 a.m.: A Whites Avenue resident ordered a cell phone online but when after it was delivered it went missing before the resident could pick up the package. A security camera caught an image of a suspect, who is described as a blonde woman, wearing a black coat.
Dec. 23, 2:30 p.m.: A woman came into Target and took $47 worth of merchandise and put it in her pockets. She then went through checkout without paying. The 39-year-old woman from Roslindale was summonsed to Waltham District Court for shoplifting.
Dec. 23, 6:30 p.m.: A package was taken from a Highland Avenue home.
Dec. 24, 5:05 p.m.: A woman was at the food court at the Arsenal Project and afterward she realized her purse was missing. When she went back to look for it, the purse was gone. Later she found out someone had used one of her credit cards at Subway in the Arsenal Project food court. Security cameras caught an image of a woman wearing a grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and carrying a Bath and Body Works shopping bag using the card. Police are investigating.
Dec. 24, 8:24 p.m.: A car parked on Knowles Road had its front two tires slashed sometime between 4 and 8 p.m.
