The first significant snowfall of the winter will impact Tuesday morning’s commute.
The Watertown area will receive more than an inch of snow before it turns to rain.
Much of the snowfall will occur overnight, and the storm will change to rain between 9 and 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Snowfall further North and West will be 1-3 inches and the northern part of the state and New Hampshire could get up to 6 inches, according to WHDH Channel 7.
The high will be 39 degrees on Tuesday.
