The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
Arrests
Dec. 1, 5:27 p.m.: A woman was spotted in Target taking out an empty bag and filling it with numerous items and tried to leave the store without paying. The items were worth a total of $488. While police investigated the incident they found she had a pill container with various medications inside. The 26-year-old Watertown woman was arrested on charges of shoplifting, possession of a Class B drug, possession of a Class C drug and possession of a Class E drug.
Dec. 3, 5:51 p.m.: An officer patrolling in Watertown Square spotted a driver run a red light. Police discovered the driver had a suspended license. The 27-year-old West Roxbury man was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license and failing to stop.
Dec. 6, 3:18 p.m.: A man was seen taking two Nike sweatshirts from Sports Authority in the Arsenal Project, worth $79.99 each. He ran out of the store and mall security spotted him crossing Arsenal Street and go into Best Buy. An officer stopped him there. The 39-year-old Wilmington man was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
Incidents
Nov. 30, 6:54 a.m.: A Katherine Road resident parked in the driveway a few days earlier and on Nov. 26 discovered that someone broke into the vehicle and took some loose change.
Nov. 30, 11:19 a.m.: A vehicle was keyed all along one side and on the hood.
Nov. 30, 6:07 p.m.: A vehicle parked on Grandview Avenue was broken into and cash, some credit cards and a drivers license were taken. The vehicle was unlocked.
Nov. 30, 7:42 p.m.: A home on Orchard Street that was in the process of being moved into was broken into through a rear window. A 65-inch curved TV, a Bose Soundbar speaker and a Dell laptop were taken. Police are investigating.
Dec. 1, 5:31 p.m.: A vehicle parked in a driveway on Fayette Street was broken into and rummaged through. Nothing appeared to be missing. The car was left unlocked.
Dec. 4, 3:56 p.m.: The owner of Belmont Auto Clinic reported that someone came in and got $10 in gas but did not have money. The driver promised to come back to pay but never did.
Dec. 4, 8:33 p.m.: Cash was taken from a car parked on King Street but left unlocked.
Dec. 6, 11:17 a.m.: A Lyndon Street resident discovered someone took two candy cane lights and three solar lights from in front of the home.
Dec. 6, 12:05 p.m.: A victim reported stopping to go to Dunkin’ Donuts in Coolidge Square and when he returned a blue bag was taken containing ice skates and gloves.
Dec. 6, 5:47 p.m.: Target security spotted a woman take a shopping bag and place numerous items inside and tried to leave. The merchandise was worth $404.98. The 18-year-old woman from Situate was summonsed to Waltham District Court for shoplifting.
Dec. 6, 7:54 p.m.: Two shoplifters were seen fleeing from Best Buy after taking two Lifeproof cellphone cases each. The cases are worth $49.99 each. They were last seen getting into a black Chevy Suburban.
