See Which Watertown Restaurants are Offering Take Out or Delivery

With Gov. Baker’s order to close restaurants, they will be one of the hardest hit during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The vast majority of Watertown restaurants remain open for take out, and many also deliver.

Many restaurants around town put up messages on social media or on their websites. Food delivery apps such as Grubhub or DoorDash offer delivery from many places around town. If you know of others, please send information to watertownmanews@gmail.com or leave a comment below.

One of the most inspiring was Red Lentil, which announced on its website:

In response to (Gov. Baker’s) declaration of a public health emergency last evening, the dining room is now closed. However, we are still offering delivery and takeout. Our hours will be 11 AM to 8 PM. In an effort to maintain social distancing, we will do all we can to make you comfortable while continuing to offer healthy, delicious food. Select Contact-free delivery at checkout through GrubHub, for instance, and drivers will call/text when they arrive and drop off your order on the doorstep, in the lobby, or other area designated by you. Watertown is and always has been strong, and we will pull through together. We appreciate your continued patronage. As a small local business, we stand to suffer a great blow from this pandemic. The support you show now will help offset that impact. We will keep you updated as changes arise on our end.

Don Levy from Deluxe Town Diner said: The Deluxe Town Diner is offering pick up and delivery from 7am-7pm everyday

Donohue’s Bar & Grill announced on its Facebook page that it is open for takeout or delivery on GrubHub.

Arsenal Catering wrote: Newton, Brighton, Belmont, and Cambridge. You can take advantage of this great individual lunch special delivery offer: https://arsenalcatering.com/special

Demos Watertown said “We would like all of our customers to know that we are taking all the Necessary precautions to keep everyone safe during this unpredictable time!! We are open only for pickup and delivery!!” on its Facebook page

The Diner at 11 North Beacon wrote on its Facebook page:
“It’s all about the “Grab n Go”….we will be open for your takeout, curb pickup, online and yes delivery needs!! We are here and ready to serve”

Greg’s Restaurant announced on Facebook that it is offering takeout: “Starting Tuesday 3/17 we will have our full menu available for takeout and delivery only. Gift cards are for sale as well. Please share and show support. These are tough times for everyone but we will do what we can to keep your stomachs full! We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back when the ban is lifted. Thank you and stay safe!”

Chulo restaurant (in the former Asiana Fusion spot), said on its website: In accordance with Gov. Baker and President emergency declarations,
we are choosing to limit our service to take-out and deliveries 
Till April 17th only in an effort to keep our customers and their families safe.

Ritcey East said on its website: We will be closed March 16th through March 24th Open for delivery & take out Wednesday March 25th – Saturday March 28th &Wednesday April 1st – Saturday April 4th We will be doing delivery & take out 5 pm through 12 am 

Halfway Cafe FYI: Our full menu is available for takeout, with curbside pickup available. 

Not Your Average Joe’s announced it will be temporarily closed beginning March 18 on its website.

Wild Willy’s Burgers announced on its Facebook page it will take orders online (wildwillysburgers.com) or by delivery from DoorDash or Grubhub. They added: “We will stay open as long as possible during these difficult times and we thank you for your patronage and understanding.”

Miller’s Ale House said it is open for take out or delivery on its Facebook page.

Jana Grill & Bakery announced on its Facebook page: Dear community, 
We have taken all possible precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. We are closed for dine in, but we are still open for pick up and delivery. The only way to go through these hectic times is by supporting and taking care of each other. Keep your eye on our instagram and Facebook pages for weekly deals and offers. And please be safe! 

Pleasant Street Pizza says it is taking pickup or delivery orders on its website.

Cha Yen Thai Cookery said on its website that they are open for take out and delivery.

Uncommon Grounds announced in an email it will be closed

John Brewers Tavern said on its Facebook page that pick it up and bring it home. We also offer delivery through UberEats and Grub Hub.

Fiorella’s said on its Facebook page: All Fiorella’s Cucina & Express locations remain open and we look forward to serving you. We are continuing to follow our strict safety protocols to ensure the utmost care for our guests and team members.  Ways you can still enjoy Fiorella’s at home: 

1. No-Contact Delivery: With free delivery, you now have the option of a “no-contact” drop off when placing your order at all Fiorella’s Express locations. 

2. Curbside Pickup: You can have your order in minutes at all of our locations by calling us when you arrive and we will bring the order to your car.
