They also found a half-full bottle of Jose Cuervo in a cup holder and had another bottle of Patron tequila. The man admitted to consuming alcohol before driving, and he failed field sobriety tests. The driver was taken into custody and when police got his real name, they found he had a prior OUI conviction. The driver put both of his hands in his pockets against the request of the officer. The officer told the man he had been speeding and that the registration had been revoked. When they searched the driver, Police found suboxone strips (for which he did not have a prescription) and what appeared to be a crack pipe. Police asked the passengers to get out because he was under arrest and they refused to cooperate at first. When they searched the front passenger, a male, Police found four small plastic bags with what appeared to be crack cocaine inside. Meanwhile, the rear passenger got out of the vehicle and ran across Main Street to Edward Road and tried to escape into the wooded area near Gore Estate. When officers tried to capture her, she punched an officer in the face. She was found to be wanted on a warrant. The driver, a 29-year-old Waltham man, was arrested on two counts of possession of a Class B drug, one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and one count of speeding. The front passenger, a 54-yard Waltham man, was arrested on a charge of possession of a Class B drug.
