NOTE: The date has changed for the Night of Gratitude event.
The following announcement was provided by Little Sprouts:
Little Sprouts, an award-winning network of preschools in New England, announce the kickoff to their “Gratitude is Good” campaign with a Night of Gratitude event devoted to early educators.
The event takes place at the Little Sprouts Watertown school located at 150 Coolidge Avenue, Watertown, MA on a date to be determined. Designed to celebrate the tenacity and capacity of all professionals who dedicate their careers to helping children learn, grow, and thrive, a Night of Gratitude will include light refreshments, thank you gifts, and an inspiring presentation from early educator, World Marathon Champion, and TB12 Sponsored Athlete Becca Pizzi. Pizzi’s experience as a leader in both the fields of early education and physical training offers a unique and inspiring perspective on how to build stamina, persistence, and resilience.
“I was beyond thrilled to be asked to participate in such an inspiring event. I have found that early educators share the same dedication and tenacity in their daily work as I faced in the world marathon challenge,” said Becca Pizzi of Belmont, MA. Little Sprouts strives to instill teacher appreciation throughout the entire year by creating awareness around the invaluable contributions that teachers make every day on behalf of future generations. “Coming together as a community of educators to learn, connect, and have fun is critical to the wellbeing of our children AND the adults who care for them,” said Sarah Schroeder, CEO of Little Sprouts.
Admission to a Night of Gratitude is free for teachers across all fields of education, and $10 for members of the general public. Registration is required and space is limited. RSVP online at: https://littlesprouts-nightofgratitude.eventbrite.com.
