The moaners will never give up. If you don’t want to hear planes then move to Vermont.
Get educated, Jaygee. Maybe the meeting would be a good place to start. Flights over Watertown have skyrocketed (pardon the pun) in recent years, and not just because the airport is busier. More departures are being funneled in to fewer routes, making some days a hell of constant noise. And it didn’t use to be this way. It’s bureaucratic nonsense, not moaning, that is the problem. Your help on the issue would be appreciated. Your brush-off is not.
Remember, only one comment per story unless you sign your whole name.
I have lived in Watertown for over 50 years. Aircraft noise was never an issue until recent years after they opened the new 33L runway at Logan. Early morning and evening departures are particularly bad times. Flights can be less than 2 minutes apart when they are using the flight path over Watertown. The noise is relentless. I didn’t move next to an airport. The Airport is moving next to me. What they are doing and getting away with is wrong.
