The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
Incidents
Oct. 14 10:12 a.m.: Two drivers got into an argument after an incident on Arsenal Street. One driver said said the other one cut him off, and while they were stopped one driver got out of his car, opened the other driver’s door and pulled the man out. The man accused of pulling the other out said the other man got out of his car on his own. Neither was injured, and police told them they could go to Waltham District Court to seek charges.
Oct. 17, 7:02 a.m.: An officer on patrol was flagged down by a construction worker on Boylston Street. The man was the owner of a company doing work on a home. When he arrived at the worksite at 6:30 a.m. that morning he found a DeWalt chop saw was gone. The home was not secured at the time.
Oct. 17, 12:23 p.m.: A Jensen Road resident parked his car in his driveway at 1 p.m. on Oct. 16, and when she came out at noon it had been rummaged through. Nothing appeared to be missing. The vehicle had been left unlocked.
Oct. 18, 4:19 a.m.: A man left his wallet in his vehicle, which was parked in a lot on Spruce Street at 7 p.m. on Oct. 17. When he came out at 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 18 he saw that his wallet was gone. It contained $60 in cash, a credit card and a driver’s license. The doors had been left unlocked.
Oct. 19, 11:28 a.m.: Residents of a condo complex on Pleasant Street discovered that the sign in front of their building had been stolen. The sign was worth $100.
Oct. 20, 11:56 a.m.: Police were called to a reception hall on California Street in Newton for a report of a drunken driver. The caller had been at a funeral at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Watertown and she was putting a car seat in her vehicle when another vehicle struck her door, which slammed into her. She was not seriously injured, and she said that the vehicle did not stop. When the woman arrived at the reception hall 15 minutes later she saw the vehicle that struck her door and she approached the driver. The man denied he was in an accident. The woman believed the man was intoxicated. Police arrived and the man admitted to drinking alcohol before driving. Police also found an empty liquor bottle in his vehicle. The man failed field sobriety tests. The 57-year-old Waltham man was summonsed to Waltham District Court on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol — a third offense, and leaving the scene of an accident causing personal injury.
